Dear Friend of Disability Rights:

I need your help! I have volunteered to join in the ADAPT FUN*RUN for Disability Rights which supports Atlantis ADAPT work to make community living a reality for everyone.

I will roll my way around Upper Senate Park, Constitution and 1st Street on 05/14/2017 until I complete 25 or so laps.

Although I have moved to lovely Hillsborough North Carolina ADAPT has never moved from my mind. We do the important work of getting folks out of institutions, securing attendant care so people can live free and feel supported, we defend liveable pay for attendants because they need to live while they help us to, and we battle against cuts which make it hard to live, stay free and stay healthy. We will be in DC to secure our lives, battle the cuts to the ACA which harm us and our attendants, defend medicaid and other vital programs, and challenge all barriers which might seek to shut us up, instutionize us, or watch us die.

Expect non-violent civil disobedience. Expect Arrests. Because it gets things done; because lives are on the line. So until there's NC ADAPT I'll be rollin' with Atlantis ADAPT. If ya can please help.
